This year I was an instructor on 3sdmax / substance painter / unreal engine / quixel / etc ... and we with my students decided to redo the school in which we were at the Edaic in Lyon, France (the first floor in open space and the top rooms) ... We therefore started with an autocad plan in dwg format in 2d, then each of the elements was modeled in 3D under 3dsmax / textured under substance painter and integrated under unreal engine 4 // / We used reality-capture to make some elements in photogrammetry, the clown sculpted by Alexis Bert :) thank you to him! as well as some other elements ...
I taught my students all the software from 3d to real-time 3d integration into the engine.
We saw the blueprints (teleportation / lighting function / sound / video in real time / 360 ° / animation ...) We programmed a realistic walk of the character with the possibility of setting the movement of the head.
We have also animated some element of the map with the door opening for example ///
We achieved realistic overall lighting using the functions of the post process volume ///
We made complex textures and shaders ///
We also saw the zbrush software with which I modeled the animated character /// as well as speedtree / quixel mixer / Megascans etc ...
Congratulations to them for their investment and their work throughout this year despite the covid19 ... ///
A big thank you to Edaic and its team for giving me a lot of autonomy to test new innovations !!!
